Please find attached a promotional leaflet for an event on 23rd November at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud. The event is aimed at parents to help them keep their children safe online and from exploitation. The event is intended to be family friendly and there is only one session during the day which is only for those aged over 16, due to the content. There is the option to ‘pop in’ at any point during the day or to book sessions to ensure a space for a particular session.
There are a number of presentations throughout the day, you can book on to sessions using the links below.
The Event is funded by Stroud District Community Safety Partnership …entitled
"Keeping Young People Safe Online ... An Adults Guide"
Please find the Abridged version of the Full OFSTED Action Plan sent to you immediately after the last information meeting, attached.
There will be a meeting for Parents and carers on Wednesday 27th November at 6pm to discuss the Action Plan and any follow up from the previous Parent Meeting. The Governors have written to the Regional Schools Commissioner to ask for reconsideration of their proposed course of action.
The Governors of St Dominic’s are consulting upon their proposed admission arrangements for the 2021-22 academic year. The policy for consultation is attached.
I would be grateful if you could make the information in this email (and the policy) available to all interested parties (such as governors, trustees, parishioners and parents).
The consultation period is from 8th November to 20th December 2019.
Any responses should be sent to: Tracy De Young (School Secretary)
