Teaching Assistant

Grade F 

Permanent, 22 hours per week, term time only.  

Start date: As soon as possible

 

We are a small Catholic Academy, seeking to appoint a highly flexible, enthusiastic and talented Teaching Assistant, preferably with HLTA status,to work as part of our friendly, committed teaching team. The successful candidate will work in partnership with class teachers to support successful learning across the school.

They will also have the skills to work as an HLTA, to support teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment release time and when needed be able to provide support for the Headteacher/SENCO in managing SEND provision across the school as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high quality teaching assistant who is seeking professional development and wants to broaden their skills. The flexibility to undertake additional hours when required would be an advantage

 

They should be able to demonstrate the following skills and personal qualities:

 . Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

  . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  . Self-motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility to work independently and as

   part of the team

 . Able to lead by example, modelling our Christian values to others  . Classroom Experience working across the primary age range.
