Outdoor Learning 2018-19.
This year we have our own Forest School leader, Mrs Lowson, who has successfully passed her training and will now lead outdoor learning across all year groups. We run Forest School for enrichment on Friday afternoons and we will also be organising specific class skills days on a termly basis.
Children need to have suitable clothing in school to take part, including welly boots, protective outdoor clothing, track suit bottoms and long sleeve tops to protect arms and legs.
Outdoor Learning 2017-18
During the autumn term class 2, Class 3 and class 4 have enjoyed trips to Copsegrove Farm, Bisley where they had fun exploring the Our whole school topic of 'Up, Up and Away' incorporating their special class focus. Children also had the opportunity to develop team building skills.
Here are a few photos of our outdoor learning activities from the summer term 2016-17. Active and outdoor learning is a key focus for our curriculum development. More photos to follow of just some of the activities that the children have enjoyed.
